Antique Furniture.US - Books

One of my projects for this winter will be to write a script using PHP 5 to feature the antique furniture reference books that Amazon.com has available. I have featured antique furniture reference books on this website in the past. However this time around I want to code all the software myself using PHP 5 as I enjoy learning about the PHP scripting language! I wrote the very basic PHP code that now displays the Amazon.com products on my web pages quite some time ago using PHP 4. The book "Field Guide to American Antique Furniture: A Unique Visual System for Identifying the Style of Virtually Any Piece of American Antique Furniture" displayed below is an example of using PHP 4 and a XML feed to access Amazon's product information and reviews. The thread that I started at Digitalpoint.com displays the code and how I add the Amazon.com content to my webpages. Please note that the example links to Antique Furniture.US no longer work because of my having to shut this website down. Hopefully as time allows I can update and add most of those pages back to this website! However I just added this page which was deleted several years ago. It still gets quite a bit of traffic from people searching for the Simpsons "Das Bus" TV episode. So I thought it might be helpful to add it back for anyone searching for the Simpsons parody of the Lord of the Flies.
